Weber 1742301 Summit E-450 Propane Tuck-Away Rotisserie Grill, Copper
Product Description
weber 1742301 Summit E-450 Propane Gass Grill w/Tuck-Away Rotisserie, Copper - A must-have for summer entertaining on the back deck, this propane grill not only looks great, it also provides a generous 580 square inches of total cooking space--a 468-square-inch primary cooking area and a 112-square-inch warming rack. The unit's four stainless-steel burners and 48,800 BTU-per-hour input make it easy to cook-up everything from steaks, pork chops, chicken, or fish to veggie burgers and shish-kabobs. Its 12,000 BTU-per-hour input flush-mounted side burner works great for simmering a sauce to slather on later. The grill also supplies 3/8-inch-wide stainless-steel rod cooking grates and stainless-steel Flavorizer bars to help ensure excellent results and reduced flare-ups, as well as a Snap-Jet individual burner-ignition system for ease of use. In addition, its durably constructed design includes a porcelain-enameled shroud with a polished handle and trim, a center-mounted thermometer, and cast-aluminum end caps; an accent-colored painted steel frame with corresponding painted steel doors and chrome-plated cast-aluminum handles; and an enclosed tank-storage area with a precision fuel gauge (tank not included). Its versatile design also includes an 8,000-BTU-per-hour smoker burner and stainless-steel smoker box, a 10,600-BTU-per-hour infrared rear-mounted rotisserie burner, and a spit-fork rotisserie attachment with a heavy-duty motor. Other highlights include two stainless-steel work areas, six tool holders, a Grill Out handle light, and four heavy-duty casters--two locking and two swivel--for smooth mobility. Don't know what to grill first? weber throws in a handy cookbook with great summer-grilling ideas. With the lid open, the propane grill measures 30 by 66 by 57 inches.
Even though we're in the middle of the cold, dark winter, I still find myself heading to the back patio a few nights a week to fire up the grill for a grilled meal. It's super easy to use to make chicken, pork, beef or fish grilled to perfection. The Flavorizer bars keep the meat tasting as it should, and you don't have to worry about that "gas grill taste." There's ample cooking area, and the burner system ensures even grilling. The sideburner is great for warming up baked beans or sauce or whatever else you may have on the side. Rotisserie is a great added bonus that I occasionally use for whole chickens. Stainless steel work areas ensure I don't have to worry about rust. The built-in light helps me see during the dark winter nights. I also appreciate the enclosed cart underneath for storage and neat presentation.
I can't wait for summer to return so I can be in the backyard, entertaining family and friends with great food from my Weber. Until then, I'll put a jacket on.
